okay so this video is going to quickly show you how to use the better doc to form add-on so the goal is simple to help you turn this particular document that may represent a test into a google form as quickly as possible you come over here you say better doctor form create form now that pops up this user interface on the right hand side what you can do is you might say that hey i need to ask for the child's name or the student's name and i need to ask for the teacher's name so you can check box both those things and that auto creates those options if you don't need them leave them unchecked now i wanted to make it as easy as possible for you to fill out this so what you have to do is just select it and hit paste what happens is that the question comes here and here you get a little the the question is repeated in this blue bar since there's not a lot of space over here you can collapse those questions and make them as large and small as needed now we need to fill in these options so again you just simply select them click paste answers and the answers come over here by default the question type is multiple choice let's create the next one because i want to show you something different here you select the question paste and when you select the answers this time it's a different type of formatting over here there is you know a numbered list and here the answers are just one under the other but in both cases it handles it and just puts the answers over there okay now we need to add another question so simply select the question open this guy up say paste and this is going to be uh select all that applies so a check box question so you select type check box select all of the options hit paste okay let's add another question and this one is going to be uh did you like this test so you hit paste and then you say this is going to be a paragraph that's it once you're done with all this you can either click the generate form button here or the generate form button over here so let's hit this one it says generating form please wait you can come over here to your google forms and you'll see that this form got generated right now and after a few seconds it should say ready view generated form so you can click on that and you can actually see the form that you just created or if you want to make some changes you can say edit generated form and that opens up this where you can come in here and make some small edits as you can see this was a checkbox question here it took the options even though both these questions had slightly different formatted options i've tried my best to make this the fastest and easiest way to convert a doc into a google form if you have any suggestions for how i can improve this please feel free to email me at this email address thanks for watching i hope this is very useful to you
